Kinesiology brings together people who study the human physical activity from a variety of perspectives and in many levels of analysis.The molecules, genes, neurons, muscles of a single artist, sport in society, and study groups that encourage and educate others about physical activity, the University of Maryland Department Kinesiology is unique in its depth and breadth.
All majors in the department to acquire conceptual knowledge and experiential anatomical, physiological, psychological, sociological, educational, historical, and prospects for management of physical activity, movement, exercise and sport. Kinesiology graduates will go to further studies in the health professions, professions related to sports, professions related to fitness and all other work-related physical activity.
