The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) promotes the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals and communities.
ACF programs are designed to allow families and individuals to increase their economic independence and productivity;
encourage, support strong, healthy, that have a positive impact on quality of life and development of children;
create partnerships with providers of frontline services, states, localities and tribal communities to identify and implement solutions that transcend the boundaries of traditional programs; improve access to services through planning, reform and integration;
and meet the needs, strengths and capacities of vulnerable populations, including people with intellectual disabilities, refugees and migrants.
